The Spark: A History of LGBT+ Struggles
This event has passed!
Documentary film by Benoît Masocco, 2019, duration: 1 hour 38 minutes.

Fifty years ago, the Stonewall riots marked the beginning of LGBT+ struggles. Since then, the fight has continued to intensify. From New York to Paris, San Francisco to Amsterdam, these decades of struggle are brought to life through testimonials and previously unseen archive footage. We (re)discover the activism of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people who experienced the repression of the 1960s, the sexual liberation of the 1970s, the tragedy of AIDS in the 1980s, and the fight for marriage rights in the 2000s.
