Inclusion at theUM : Current Status and Outlook

Workshop / Discussion.
Triolet Campus – Place Eugène Bataillon – Building 7 – Auditorium and lobby.

This workshop/discussion will present the key findings of the survey “LGBT+ Issues in the Workplace,” conducted a few months ago among staff at theUM by L’Autre Cercle and IFOP. An analysis of the results will serve as a basis for discussion and for planning future awareness-raising initiatives aimed at students and staff.
The presence of Charles Bernier, Esq., an attorney with Le Refuge, will allow us to address the various challenges faced by LGBT+ individuals in the workplace and in public spaces. We will ask him about the legal measures designed to protect LGBT+ individuals in their workplaces as well as in civil society.
Various organizations are getting involved and will participate in the discussion. SOS Homophobie, Narval UM, Le Clef, Le Refuge, and ABC Trajectoire will also be in the lobby of Building 7 to discuss their commitment to combating homophobia and answer your questions.
Antoine Chereau, a political cartoonist for the past 30 years, will be joining us. He will be participating live, offering incisive, funny, and offbeat commentary while creating illustrations to accompany the survey results.
