UM at the EAIE 2024 Exhibition

The 34th edition of theEuropean Association for International Education (EAIE) fair will take place at the MEETT in Toulouse from September 17 to 20, 2024. Over three days, more than 6,000 participants from around 100 countries will take part in conferences, workshops, and presentations on the theme of the internationalization of education and its challenges. The University of Montpellier will be present at this must-attend event, considered the major annual gathering in Europe for higher education professionals, which has not been held in France for 15 years.

Proof of its strategic international influence, reinforced by its ranking among the world's top 200 universities in the Shanghai ranking, UM will actively participate in this leading European event. Its teams, committed to promoting and developing its visibility and attractiveness internationally, will have the opportunity to meet diplomats, counterparts, and partners at its stand throughout the event. The UM will also be present as a member university on the CHARM-EU European alliance website and will have the opportunity to highlight its participation in several innovative joint educational projects at specific conferences that professionals attending the fair will be able to attend.

The European Association for International Education (EAIE)

The EAIE is the European center of expertise, networking, and resources for the internationalization of higher education. It is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 that supports the internationalization of higher education institutions. Among the objectives of the 2024 edition of the EAIE exhibition are: to give a European voice to the challenges facing French higher education policy, to promote the educational offerings and excellence of French universities and schools, to participate in the development of Africa/Europe relations in the wake of the Africa-France Summit held in Montpellier in 2021, and to strengthen the region's attractiveness and influence in terms of higher education and research.
