"Soft mobility in metropolises, how can we accelerate?"

New forms of mobility represent a major ecological challenge for local authorities, in a context where dependence on the car is still high, particularly for daily commuting.

The November 9 round table organized by Montpellier's Faculty of Economics, in partnership with Midi Libre, entitled "Mobilité douce dans les Métropoles, comment accélérer?" will enable an exchange between representatives of the three key pillars of this transition: local authorities, committed citizens and innovative companies. The epicenter of the debates will revolve around the accompanying measures adopted by the Metropole of Montpellier, offering a concrete insight into the actions undertaken to establish more environmentally-friendly mobility in our territories.

Delving into the complex issues of urban planning, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving quality of life, the debate promises an in-depth exploration of the strategies put in place to create more sustainable metropolises.
