Engineer's Day 2024

In the frantic race for planetary exploration, the leading countries in space conquest are competing with American initiatives such as NASA, SpaceX, and Blue Origin. At the same time, a booming economy is developing around new technologies, nanosatellites, micro-launchers, and data from
constellations of satellites in Earth orbit, forming what is known as "New Space," a particularly dynamic sector of research and innovation that is largely unknown to the general public.

During conferences and discussions led by renowned experts, you will meet the new players in space exploration, researchers, entrepreneurs, and educators, all of whom are passionate about the development of New Space in the Occitanie region.

Starting with CNES (the French space agency) and the training provided at the Montpellier University Space Center, through to the brilliant initiatives of startups encouraged by the network of incubators supported by the European Space Agency, BIC ESA, you will discover how these companies are preparing for new challenges and opportunities in the rapidly growing space economy.
