The UM Open Science and Research Support team is continuing its series of webinars on Open Science!
These webinars cover various topics related to open science, scientific publications, research data, and digital identifiers.
They take place every other Tuesday, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., with a presentation (between 20 and 40 minutes) and a discussion period.
The webinar on March 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., will focus on the topic “Launch of the eLab FTW electronic lab notebook offering at UM.”
In the first half of 2025, the University of Montpellier will expand its range of services for scientists with the introduction of the eLab FTW electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
This CLE is open-source software accessible via the web that allows users to record details of scientific work on a daily basis while ensuring their protection (priority, ownership).
It facilitates the sharing of data and protocols between different research stakeholders. And it is flexible enough to adapt to very different research practices.
The UM research support team will explain how to access the service and the support available for using the tool. A brief demonstration of the tool will also be given.
