The UM’s Open Science and Research Support Team is continuing its series of webinars on open science!

These webinars cover a variety of topics related to open science, scientific publications, research data, and digital identifiers.

They are held every other Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and include a presentation (lasting 20 to 40 minutes) followed by a discussion.

The webinar on March 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will focus on the topic “Launch of the eLab FTW electronic lab notebook offering at UM.”

In the first half of 2025, the University of Montpellier is expanding its range of services for researchers with the launch of the eLab FTW electronic lab notebook (CLE)

This CLE is an open-source web-based software application that allows users to record the details of their scientific work on a daily basis while ensuring its protection (priority, ownership).

It facilitates the sharing of data and protocols among various research stakeholders. And it is flexible enough to adapt to a wide range of research practices.

The UM Research Support Team will explain how to access the service and the support options available for using the tool. A brief demonstration of the tool will also be provided.
