Launch of the MOOC “Managing Alliances, Partnerships, and Co-opetition”

The Observatory of Alliances and Partnerships (OBSAP), Labex Entreprendre, and the Montpellier Management Institute (MOMA) at the University of Montpellier are launching the MAPS MOOC—the first and only MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on Alliance, Partnership, and Co-opetition Management.
Registration opens on May 15, 2018.

Are you a student or a working professional looking to become an alliances and partnerships manager? Are you a current alliances manager looking to improve your professional practices? Are you a business leader seeking to better understand the role of alliances and those who manage them? … Then the MAPS MOOC is for you!
In the face of globalization and technological advances over the past few decades, companies can no longer “go it alone,” and alliances and partnerships have become a genuine strategic necessity. Managing these collaborations has therefore become a top priority for companies, but it has also raised new questions:

• What is an alliance? What is a partnership? How do alliances impact business performance?
• Who is an alliance manager, and what are their responsibilities? How do you recruit the best partner?
• How can you collaborate with a competitor? What are the key factors for success and the obstacles to successful partnerships?
• What management tools and practices are useful for alliance managers and the teams involved in the partnership?
