Public-Private Partnerships: From Innovation to Participation in Starting a Business or in the Operations of an Existing Business
This event has already taken place!
How can you start a business or become part of its management? How can you contribute your scientific expertise to a company that promotes public research?
The University of Montpellier’s Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics is organizing a presentation on public-private partnerships established under the innovation laws—PACTE and LPR. The event is open to staff members of partners in the I-SITE Program of Excellence (formerly MUSE), upon registration.
In fact, recent legislative changes have created more opportunities for collaboration between the public research sector and the business world. Public employees are now able to start or help start a business and contribute their scientific expertise, provided that the business commercializes public research. In recent years, two laws have simplified these provisions.
A presentation on the various existing programs will be followed by a Q&A session, during which your questions will be answered.
