Presentation by theUM on public-private partnerships: from innovation to participation in business creation or the operations of an existing company
This event has already taken place!
How can you start a business or help manage one? How can you provide scientific expertise to a company that leverages the results of public research?
The University of Montpellier’s Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics is organizing a presentation on public-private partnerships resulting from the innovation laws—PACTE and LPR—which is open to staff members of the I-SITE Program of Excellence (formerly MUSE) partners upon registration.
In fact, recent legislative changes have created more bridges between the worlds of public research and business. Public officials are now able to start or help start a business and contribute their scientific expertise, provided that the business commercializes public research. Over the past three years, two laws have simplified these provisions.
A presentation on the various existing programs will be followed by a Q&A session, during which we will answer your questions.
