Equality Award
The University of Montpellier launches its "Equality Award"
As part of its policy promoting gender equality and combating discrimination, the University of Montpellier is creating an "Equality Award."
This award aims to recognize academic work that contributes to a better understanding of issues related to sex and gender and/or gender equality.

The Equality Award has two categories:
- category: students,
- doctoral students category.
It rewards work carried out as part of studies or research at the University of Montpellier, regardless of format or discipline: coursework, internship reports, master's theses, doctoral theses, or any other scientific publication or production in which these issues are addressed without constituting the main subject, excluding group work.

Would you like to participate?
Participation is open to all students and doctoral researchers enrolled at the University of Montpellier during the 2025-2026 academic year who submit work completed as part of their studies at the University of Montpellier during the 2024-2025 and/or 2025-2026 academic years.
Applications will be reviewed on the basis of a summary (maximum 3,500 characters) presenting academic work related to the theme of sex, gender, and/or gender equality. This summary may outline the issue addressed, the theoretical approach, the working methodology, a summary of the results and main conclusions, and any limitations and prospects.
The application file must be submitted before April1, 2026 via the "FileSender" download platform, accessible from the ENT, to the email address of the Quality of Life at Work department: rf.re1771636177illep1771636177tnomu1771636177@tvq1771636177.
The file must contain:
- the proposed work, named according to the following format: name_work.pdf (example: dupont_work.pdf);
- the completed application form, including the abstract (student category / doctoral student category).
In the event of non-compliance with the regulations, the application will not be accepted.
Awards
In each category, two winners will be selected by the jury:
- 1st Prize: an iPad
- 2nd Prize: a cultural voucher worth €100
