Lecture by Rutger De Wit, CNRS Research Director – UMR MARBEC (Marine Biodiversity, Exploitation and Conservation) and Director of Labex CEMEB in Montpellier.
Organized by the Association of Friends of Earth and Climate Sciences (ASTEC – P.S.L), it aims to address the following questions:
- What threats are facing the coastlines and lagoon ecosystems in Occitanie?
- Is it possible to restore affected ecosystems?
- What nature-based solutions will enable adaptation to climate change?
- How can we protect natural areas while supporting socio-economic activities?
