Lecture by Rutger De Wit, CNRS Research Director – UMR MARBEC (Marine Biodiversity, Exploitation, and Conservation) and Director of Labex CEMEB in Montpellier.

Organized by the Association of Friends of Earth and Climate Sciences (ASTEC – P.S.L), it aims to address the following questions:

  • What threats do the coastlines and lagoon ecosystems in Occitanie face?
  • Is it possible to restore affected ecosystems?
  • What nature-based solutions will enable adaptation to climate change?
  • How can we protect natural areas while supporting socioeconomic activities?
