Rethinking the Classroom: Hybrid Teaching in International Higher Education
This event has already taken place!
The Charm-EU alliance of European universities presents CHARM-ON, a series of monthly webinars designed to explore and share innovative teaching practices. In June: Episode #7 on hybrid learning in international higher education.

This new episode of the CHARM-ON webinar focuses on hybrid learning and examines how higher education is adapting to increasingly connected and flexible forms of learning. By bringing together perspectives from across the CHARM-EU community, the discussion will explore how hybrid formats can foster interaction, participation, and international exchange among learners and instructors in both physical and digital environments. Rather than approaching hybrid learning solely from a technological perspective, speakers will examine the pedagogical approaches, communication strategies, and learning environments needed to make these formats attractive, inclusive, and sustainable in the long term.
Featuring: Cengiz Hakan AYDIN (Özyeğin University, Turkey), Clémentine Colomer (University of Montpellier, France), Robert Gray (University of Bergen, Norway), Nataliia Lazebna (Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany).
Every month at 1:00 p.m., CHARM-ON hosts a supportive forum for dialogue within the Charm-EU academic community, designed for sharing ideas, best practices, and personal experiences. Faculty members, researchers, students, administrative staff… Drawing on their real-world experiences, they offer practical insights into the implementation of the alliance’s pedagogical principles: challenge-based learning, mobility, interculturalism, responsible innovation, and more. These discussions aim to help staff at partner universities adopt the best practices developed within Charm-EU and to encourage their participation in the training programs offered throughout the year.
