Forum Theater: Sexism, Gender-Based and Sexual Violence in the World of Research

Combating sexism and gender-based and sexual violence is a major challenge for our scientific community—40% of female researchers have experienced sexual harassment, and more than 80% have encountered at least one instance of sexism during their careers (Ipsos – L’Oréal Foundation, 2023).

The Faculty of Sciences at the University of Montpellier is partnering with Agropolis’s forum theater workshop to offer an interactive forum theater session focused on sexism and gender-based and sexual violence in the research community.

This awareness-raising workshop will explore, through games and discussion, various forms of inequality, harassment, and discrimination.

All staff members at research institutions (faculty, researchers, support staff, administrative staff, doctoral students, etc.) are invited to participate.

Managers, thesis advisors, and team leaders in the scientific community are especially encouraged to attend this event.
