Is a world without oppression possible?
By Emilia Roig.
Opening of the event by:
Agnès Fichard-Carroll, Vice President of Education and University Life and Gender Equality Officer, and Séverine Boulon, Vice President of Social Responsibility and Campus Life.

Racism, sexism... what if all these issues were intertwined and reinforced each other?
Drawing on real-life situations, Emilia Roig will shed light on the drivers of intersectionality and the dynamics that structure our societies. Through her analysis, she will invite participants to shift their perspective, question their representations, and grasp the deep interconnections between patriarchy and racism, systems that shape our social realities, often behind the scenes.
Doctor of Political Science and author, Emilia Roig is a leading figure in social justice in Europe. After working for organizations such as the UN, GIZ, and Amnesty International, she founded the Center for Intersectional Justice in Berlin in 2017. She teaches at leading universities, including the Hertie School (Berlin) and DePaul University (Chicago), and speaks internationally on feminism, racism, and systemic discrimination. Voted "Most Influential Woman of the Year" at the Impact of Diversity Awards in 2022, she is also an Ashoka Fellow.
Open to the general public.
