5 minutes to convince: a competition to reward the best professional project presentations by students at the University of Montpellier
As part of the professional integration events taking place from January 24 to 27, the Professional Integration Assistance Office of the SCUIO-IP at the University of Montpellier is organizing the "5 minutes to convince" competition. The idea is to reward students who give the best presentation of their professional project to a jury composed of specialists from the socio-economic world and higher education.
Also worth noting is a conference on entrepreneurship hosted by Pierre Alzingre, start-up and entrepreneurship specialist, and Sonia Braun, certified public accountant, on Thursday, January 27, at 5:30 p.m.
Computers and project support to be won
The "5 minutes to convince" competition offers UM students the opportunity to present their project to a jury of experts from the professional and academic world.
There are three categories to compete in:
- "career plans" category when looking for an internship or job, planning to continue your studies, or seeking international mobility;
- category "business creation" as part of a project to create a business, association, or resume business activity;
- "doctoral students" category in the context of a post-doctoral application, a collaboration contract, post-doctoral employment, etc.
After each presentation, the jury provides feedback to the candidates to help them improve their skills and oral presentation. The prizes include a laptop computer and dedicated support from Hays (in the "professional project" category), CPME and PEPITE-LR (in the "business creation" category) and SATT AxLR (in the "doctoral students" category).
