Alexane Lequart, UM’s new student vice president
Alexane Lequart, a student at the Montpellier-Sète University Institute of Technology and the lead candidate on theZ’élus UMslate, was elected by the Academic Council on January 22 with 47 out of 62 votes. She becomes the new student vice president of the University of Montpellier, succeeding Amal Qobaa (also from the Z’élus UM slate). Alexane Lequart, 20, is a sophomore in the Technical Bachelor’s Degree (BUT) in Marketing, specializing in digital marketing, e-business, and entrepreneurship.
Deeply committed to the issue of sustainable development, one of her key responsibilities will be to implement the initiatives outlined in UM’s student life master plan.
