Alexane Lequart, new UM student vice-president

Alexane Lequart, a student at IUT Montpellier-Sète and head of the Z'élus UM list, was elected by the Academic Council on January 22 with 47 votes out of 62. She becomes the new student vice-president of the University of Montpellier, succeeding Amal Qobaa (also from the Z'élus UM list). Aged 20, Alexane Lequart is in her second year of a marketing technology degree, specializing in digital marketing, e-business and entrepreneurship.

Highly committed to sustainable development, she will be responsible for implementing the UM's student life master plan.
