Call for Proposals – Interdisciplinary Master’s Scholarships 

Deadline: June 7, 202420 scholarships available, totaling €100,000

Objective

The Biology-Health Research Cluster is launching its first call for proposals, “Interdisciplinary Master’s Scholarships,” aimed at research teams wishing to host a second-year Master’s student as part of an interdisciplinary project for internships beginning in 2025. Applications do not require a student to have already been identified.

The goal is to provide financial support to encourage Master’s 2 students to pursue interdisciplinary research in health.

Target audience

Research teams from the AEB, Chemistry, MIPS, and Social Sciences clusters that wish to develop an interdisciplinary project on one of the themes covered by the seven research areas of the Biology-Health Cluster.

  • QUANTITATIVE BIOLOGY
  • ONCOLOGY

  • EXPERIMENTAL AND REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
  • NEUROSCIENCES
  • HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES BIOENGINEERING

Eligibility Criteria

Projects must be interdisciplinary and involve one of the seven research areas of the Biology-Health Cluster and a team from another cluster. Translational projects involving a team from one cluster and a hospital-based team are also eligible.

Selection criteria

  • Interdisciplinary nature of the projects
  • Scientific quality
  • Supervision / Environment / Student Training
  • Student Work Plan

Projects will be selected by the funding agencies.

Calendar

  • Call for Proposals Launch: April 22, 2024
  • Application deadline: June 7, 2024
  • Result: July 2024
  • Start of internships: 2025
