Call for Projects – The Graduate School is open to all master’s programs leading to doctoral degrees at UM
Building on the IDIL program, the Graduate School of the University of Montpellier will begin offering the University of Montpellier’s research-oriented master’s programs this fall. These master’s programs, which are currently administered by the academic departments, schools, and institutes, will be grouped under the Graduate School’s “Graduate Tracks” umbrella and are designed to encourage students to pursue doctoral studies.
These new Graduate Tracks are fully aligned with the University of Lausanne’s strategy of integrating education with research and thus complement the Intensive Research Graduate Tracks (IDIL master’s programs), which are already supported under the SFRI program.
They will be eligible for targeted promotion through international networks and financial support for specific initiatives such as:
- summer schools,
- interdisciplinary projects (within or across majors),
- initiatives aligned with IDIL’s priorities (laboratory immersion, internationalization, research-based training, interdisciplinarity).
A call for proposals has already been issued, and applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.
Projects submitted by July 15, 2025, will be notified starting July 25.
