Ceremony to award Armand Soldera an honorary doctorate from the University of Montpellier

On Thursday, November 14, 2024, Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, will award an honorary doctorate from the University of Montpellier to Armand Soldera, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Director of the Laboratory of Molecular Physicochemistry at the University of Sherbrooke in Canada. The ceremony will take place in the S. Peytavin amphitheater in Building 31 on the Triolet Campus starting at 5 p.m., in the presence of François Pierrot, Vice President for International Relations, Lionel Torres, Director of Polytech Montpellier, and Éric Anglaret, Deputy Director for International Relations
at Polytech Montpellier.

Professor Armand Soldera is Dean of the Faculty of Science and Director of the Laboratory of Molecular Physicochemistry at the University of Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada). His first lecture as Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Montpellier will be entitled "From atoms to materials: a metaphor for human society."
