Concert-Meeting at the University of Montpellier with Stéphane Clor as part of the residency "Listening to lines, tracing sounds"

On Wednesday, November 16, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Triolet campus of the University of Montpellier, musician and visual artist Stéphane Clor will be performing alongside Thomas Hausberger, Professor Mathematics, for a concert and exclusive meet-and-greet open to all as part of the artist residency in Montpellier, "Écouter les lignes, tracer les sons" (Listen to the lines, trace the sounds).

Concert? Meet-up? Both!

Stéphane Clor, musician and visual artist, is leading the artistic residency "Listening to lines, tracing sounds" at the Faculty of Sciences in 2022/2023. His research spans music, improvisation, and graphic arts. On November 16, he will present a hybrid format, combining a cello concert with a discussion about his residency. This will be an opportunity to discover his work and talk with him.

The concert will be punctuated by discussions with Thomas Hausberger, Professor Mathematics, offering a cross-disciplinary interpretation of scientific and artistic research.

This residency is offered by the Art & Culture Department of the Campus Life Division at the University of Montpellier in partnership with the Faculty of Sciences. This artist residency is supported by the DRAC Occitanie.

This initiative is also co-financed by the CVEC (Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus, or Student and Campus Contribution).
