Annual conference on environmental health: "Water and health: global issues".

Every year, the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine invites the public to its annual conference on environmental health. Open to all, free of charge and with no registration required, the public will be welcomed on Thursday September 26 from 6:30 to 8pm in the Faculty's historic building. This event is the culmination of a full day of training on the impact of the environment on health, aimed at the region's future general practitioners.

An important and topical theme

This year's theme is "Water and health: global issues". It will explore the vital importance of water for our health and for the organization of our societies. Although water is a source of life, it can also represent a danger if its quality is inadequate, raising major concerns for the future.

This conference will be led by Professor Eric Servat, Director of the UNESCO International Center in Montpellier, Director of Research at the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD), and Associate Professor at the University of Montpellier. Eric Servat is a recognized expert in the field of water management and its impact on health.
