Psychological counseling for UM students
The University of Montpellier offers enhanced psychological support to all its students.

Stress, anxiety, depression… In light of the psychological challenges that students may face, Whether these challenges are related to academics, personal issues, social issues, or financial difficulties, the University of Montpellier does everything in its power to support students.
Any student who feels the need can thus receive free in-person and/or online counseling sessions, in complete confidentiality, with a psychologist.
Cnaé, a new service dedicated to student well-being

The Cnaé is a resource that provides support, guidance, and reporting services for students experiencing distress, violence, or discrimination.

Weekday appointments
Department of Preventive Medicine
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., individual psychological counseling sessions are available by appointment, either in person or by phone.

University Health Center
Since September 2016, the Montpellier University Health Center (CSU) has been offering students in Montpellier “the best care and a healthcare pathway tailored to their needs.”
Student Mental Health Program

The University of Montpellier participates in the "Santé Psy Étudiant" program launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, which entitles students to up to 12 sessions of off-campus psychological counseling without having to pay upfront.
