From November 14 to 18, 2022, the University of Montpellier will host its 3rd University-Business Forum
The University of Montpellier is organizing the third edition of its University-Business Forum, an annual event dedicated to career development that will take place from November 14 to 18, 2022. The goal is to support students and recent graduates in their search for internships or jobs. More than 150 companies, 300 recruiters, and 1,500 students will participate in the third edition of the event.
The Forum in a Nutshell
The Forum is open to all students at the University of Montpellier, from the third year of a bachelor’s degree (L3) through the doctoral program, as well as recentUM graduatesUM in the Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the IAE, the IPAG, Montpellier Management, and Polytech Montpellier. As a key platform for interaction between companies, students, and recruitment professionals, the University Career Fair aims to support students and recent graduates in their transition into the workforce—a top priority for the University of Montpellier.
The Business-University Forum is an annual event organized by the Office of Career Services (SCUIO-IP) at the University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the Faculty of Sciences, Polytech, the IAE, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Economics, Montpellier Management, the IPAG, and the UNESCO ICIREWARD Center.
Talented individuals with diverse backgrounds connect with a wide range of companies and recruitment professionals
With backgrounds in science and technology, computer science, marketing, economics and finance, healthcare, the environment, and more, the 1,500 registered students will have the opportunity to interact with more than 300 recruiters from 150 companies participating in the event, which will feature internship and job opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to meet with companies during the two-day event held at the Richter Campus on November 15 and the Triolet Campus on November 17. Advisory booths will also be available to students during these two in-person days. In addition, they will be able to apply for positions via a dedicated platform, scheduling video conference interviews during the time slots offered by the companies.
Partners specializing in employment will participate in a roundtable discussion or webinars, including: ANDRH, Accueil International, APEC, Pépite-LR, Pôle Emploi, and the Observatoire de l’insertion professionnelle…

Registration for this event is required for both students and companies (for more information, visit forum-entreprises-universite.edu.umontpellier.fr).
This year, two panel discussions will be featured at the event: “How to Succeed in a Job Interview,” featuring human resources directors, industry experts (APEC, Pôle Emploi, ANDRH), and graduates of the University of Montpellier; and a panel discussion dedicated to disability, “When and How Should You Discuss Your Disability During the Application Process? ” featuring CAP Emploi and Agefiph. Twenty-three themed webinars and testimonials from recent graduates of the University will also be offered to students seeking advice.
