François Pierrot, elected Vice President of International Relations

On the recommendation of President Philippe Augé, François Pierrot was elected Vice President for International Relations at the University of Montpellier by the UM Board of Trustees on Monday, March 13, 2023. He succeeds Patrick Caron, who has been called to other duties at CGIAR.

François Pierrot is a Research Director at the Montpellier Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics, and Microelectronics (UM/CNRS). Vice President for Innovation and Partnerships from 2015 to 2022 and Executive Director of I-SITE MUSE from 2017 to 2022, François Pierrot is currently Deputy Director of the UM’s Strategic and Structural Investments Committee.
