On February 12, the University of Montpellier reopens its doors… for in-person classes!

Because when faced with doubts and questions, good advice can make all the difference, the entire academic community and the dedicated services at the University of Montpellier are coming together to answer all questions from high school students, college students, and working professionals who wish to learn more about our academic programs. While the previous event was held entirely online, this year’s University of Montpellier Open House on Saturday, February 12, 2022, will once again take place in person, in compliance with the health guidelines in effect at the time of the event.

At the university’s various campuses, high school students, college students, working professionals, and job seekers will have the opportunity to explore the approximately 600 degree programs offered by the University of Montpellier in law, economics, business, health sciences, the sciences, education, and technology—whether through traditional degree programs, continuing education, or work-study programs. In particular, attendees will be able to attend specialized lectures.

This open house will provide an opportunity to showcase the 17 faculties, schools, and institutes through campus tours, visits to university libraries, and tours of student housing. Beyond exploring the campuses, the goal of this event is to foster dialogue with students, faculty, admissions and counseling officers, academic advisors, and student organizations—all of whom are on hand to answer questions about university programs and student life.

The Handiversité team will also be on hand to provide information about the full range of support services available to students with disabilities.

Housing, dining, cultural activities, sports, health care… it’s essential to be familiar with all the services that make up daily student life and help you prepare for your upcoming years at the university with confidence. In addition to the opportunity to speak with representatives from the departments that support daily student life, you’ll also have the chance to meet with the CROUS.

The organization of this event and the details regarding attendance are subject to the current health situation and the resulting regulatory guidelines. Therefore, the program posted on the university’s website is subject to change to reflect any developments in the situation.
