The "AdNatura" national trade fair for ecology and biodiversity professionals, organized with the University of Montpellier.
From December 12 to 13, the second edition of " AdNatura" will take place at the Arena Sud de France in Montpellier. The event is organized by the Salon de l'écologie (SdE) association, in collaboration with the French Office for Biodiversity, the University of Montpellier, the Occitanie Region, the Occitanie Regional Biodiversity Agency, the City of Montpellier, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, the Union professionnelle du génie écologique, Fredon Occitanie, IAE Montpellier, and with the support of numerous partners. The theme of the 2023 event is "Biodiversity and health: from one health to eco health". Numerous UM researchers will be taking part in the conferences and round tables scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
AdNaturain a nutshell
Since its creation in 2009, the ecology trade show has become an eagerly-awaited event, recognized and appreciated for its cross-disciplinary approach, which has given rise to numerous success stories. The year 2021 marked a new stage in its evolution, as it became the Salon national des professionnels de l'écologie et de la biodiversité(AdNatura).
Engineers, technicians, researchers, managers: all professional cultures will be represented at this event, which will bring together all the structures and players involved in the ecological transition and biodiversity conservation, both private and public (companies, associations, public establishments, local authorities, inter-municipalities, government departments, etc.). They will all meet at the Professional Forum, featuring stands, business meetings and job dating.

Biodiversity is not only a common heritage to be preserved and a professional sector with a promising future, it is also a source of sustainable innovation for leading and succeeding in the ecological transition. As in previous years, AdNatura's conferences, workshops and round-table discussions will focus on a topical and forward-looking theme. For this 2023 edition, the chosen theme is the integrated approach of one health, ecohealth or planetary health. Developed over the last twenty years, this holistic concept of human, animal, plant and ecosystem health encompasses health, environmental quality (water, air, etc.), climate, food and agriculture, and biodiversity.
The annual event for careers and training in ecology and biodiversity
AdNaturais an opportunity for high school and university students, recent graduates and people in the process of retraining to find out about jobs and employers in the ecology and biodiversity sector in France. Training establishments leading to jobs as technicians, engineers and researchers will be represented in all their diversity and complementarity: BTS, professional licenses, engineering schools, masters, doctoral schools...
