The national trade show for ecology and biodiversity professionals, "AdNatura," organized in collaboration with the University of Montpellier

The second edition of "AdNatura" will take place on December 12 and 13 at the Arena Sud de France in Montpellier. This event is organized by the Salon de l'écologie (SdE) association in collaboration with the French Office for Biodiversity, the University of Montpellier, the Occitanie Region, the Occitanie Regional Biodiversity Agency, the City of Montpellier, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, the Professional Union of Ecological Engineering, Fredon Occitanie, and IAE Montpellier, as well as with the support of numerous partners. The theme of the 2023 edition will be "Biodiversity and Health: From One Health to Eco Health." Many researchers from UM will participate in the conferences and round tables scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The AdNaturatrade show in a nutshell

Since its creation in 2009, the Ecology Fair has become a highly anticipated event, recognized and appreciated for its cross-disciplinary approach, which has led to numerous success stories. The year 2021 marked a new stage in its evolution, as it became the National Fair for Ecology and Biodiversity Professionals (AdNatura).

Engineers, technicians, researchers, managers: all professional backgrounds will be represented at this event, which will bring together all the organizations and stakeholders involved in ecological transition and biodiversity conservation, both private and public (companies, associations, public institutions, local authorities, inter-municipal bodies, government departments, etc.). Everyone will come together in the Professionals' Forum, which will feature stands, business meetings, and job dating.  

The 2023 edition will focus on“Biodiversity and Health: from one health to eco health.” 

Beyond being a shared heritage to be preserved and a promising professional sector, biodiversity is a source of sustainable innovations for leading and succeeding in the ecological transition. As it does every year, AdNaturawill highlight a topical and forward-looking theme through its conferences, workshops, and round tables. For the 2023 edition, the chosen theme is the integrated approach known as One Health, Ecohealth, or Planetary Health. Developed over the last twenty years, this holistic concept of health encompasses the health of humans, animals, plants, and the environment. workshops, and round tables. The annual event for careers and training in ecology and biodiversity

AdNaturaenables all high school students, college students, recent graduates, and anyone undergoing career transition to learn about jobs and employers in the ecology and biodiversity sector in France. Educational institutions offering training in technical, engineering, and research professions will be represented in all their diversity and complementarity: BTS (advanced vocational training certificates), professional bachelor's degrees, engineering schools, master's degrees, doctoral schools, and more.
