The University of Montpellier welcomes Research players to the R3SUP symposium and the Colloque des Vice-Président(e)s Research et Valorisation from August 29 to 31, 2022

From Monday August 29 to Wednesday August 31, 2022, the University of Montpellier will be hosting all those who define and implement research strategy in France's higher education and research establishments. On Monday August 29, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the annual colloquium of managers Research of higher education and research establishments (R3SUP) will take place. The following day will see the start of the network of vice-presidents for research and development organized in partnership with France Universités Sylvie Retailleau, Minister of Higher Education and Research.

The R3SUP annual conference in a nutshell:

Launched in 2013, the R3SUP network brings together the Research heads of higher education establishments, with the aim of exchanging and professionalizing the functions of research, innovation and doctoral school management within establishments, by pooling skills and organizing joint actions. Every year, these key players from Research meet for a symposium to discuss and exchange best practices. This August 29, at UM's Faculty of Law and Political Science, the discussions will focus on 4 main themes:

• Implementation of LPR HR measures in universities
• Structuring, operation and resources of research platforms
• The impact of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility on research activities and research units
• Changes to the HCERES evaluation Research for wave C

What is the VP Research conference?

Just like the annual R3SUP conference, the annual conference of the VPs Research & Valorisation network, coordinated by France Universités, is held every year. On August 30 and 31, 2022, the University of Montpellier will be the venue for this event, which will bring together all the vice-presidents of research and commercialization at French universities, in the presence of the CEOs of the main national research organizations:
