The University of Montpellier will host stakeholders from “ Research ” at the R3SUP conference and the Conference of Vice Presidents for Research and Research from August 29 to 31, 2022
From Monday, August 29, through Wednesday, August 31, 2022, the University of Montpellier will host all those within French higher education and research institutions who define and implement research strategy. Starting Monday, August 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the annual conference of the “ Research ” (R3SUP) leaders from higher education and research institutions will take place. The following day will mark the start of the conference for the network of vice presidents for research and commercialization , organized in partnership with France Universités and will be opened via videoconference by Ms. Sylvie Retailleau, Minister of Higher Education and Research.
The R3SUP Annual Conference in a Nutshell:
Launched in 2013, the R3SUP network brings together the heads of research, innovation, and doctoral school management ( Research ) from institutions of higher education with the goal of fostering exchange and enhancing the professionalization of leadership roles in research, innovation, and doctoral school management within these institutions through the pooling of expertise and the organization of joint initiatives. Each year, these key players in the field of Research gather for a conference to discuss and share best practices. On August 29, at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of theUM, the discussions will focus on four main themes:
- Implementation of the LPR’s HR provisions at universities
- Structure, Operations, and Resources of Research Platforms
- The Impacts of Incorporating Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility into Research Activities and Research Units
- Changes to the HCERES evaluation— Research , for Wave C
