The University of Montpellier, a catalyst for encounters between talented individuals and recruiters at the 2025 University Job Fair

The University Job Fair will return on Thursday, October 16, 2025, to the Triolet campus. Organized by the University of Montpellier, this event is a major gathering dedicated to the professional integration of students and recent graduates. The goal of this sixth edition is to promote exchanges between the academic and professional worlds by creating bridges around opportunities for internships, work-study programs, and employment. Nearly 100 companies, 230 recruiters, and 1,800 students are expected to attend the 2025 edition.

The 2025 edition will focus on artificial intelligence

This year, the Forum will highlight an essential topic: artificial intelligence (AI). In a context of profound changes in professions, skills, and recruitment methods, the University of Montpellier is offering a space for reflection and dialogue on the impact of AI on the world of work.

The round table entitled "AI and recruitment: opportunities and challenges for young talent" will bring together Abyslen, APEC, and Altrad Endel, who will share their expertise on several topics:

  • new uses of AI in sourcing and selecting candidates;
  • emerging skills to master;
  • the biases and limitations of recruitment algorithms;
  • the prospects for collaboration between human intelligence and artificial intelligence.

A program rich in encounters and exchanges

The University Job Forum will take place throughout the day and will feature roundtable discussions, workshops, and company presentations:

  • 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Round table discussion: "Successful job hunting: key players and tools," with France Travail, APEC, JobIRL, and the SCUIO-IP teams.

A CV photographer will also be present throughout the afternoon to help students enhance their professional profiles. The day will continue with an online forum on the ResUM platform (here) and a series of webinars and workshops offered throughout the week of October 14 to 22.

A space for opportunities and career development

Open to all disciplines (science, health, management, economics, IT, environment, etc.), the University Job Forum is a unique space for interaction between students, graduates, and professionals.

Beyond the internships, work-study programs, and job offers posted on ResUM, the forum emphasizes personalized support and exploration of the job market, promoting dialogue between teachers, companies, and young talent trained at the University of Montpellier.
