The University of Montpellier: A Catalyst for Connecting Talent with Recruiters at the 2025 University Job Fair

The University Career Fair will return on Thursday, October 16, 2025, on the Triolet campus. Organized by the University of Montpellier, this event is a major gathering dedicated to helping students and recent graduates enter the workforce. The goal of this sixth edition is to foster dialogue between the academic and professional worlds by building bridges around opportunities for internships, work-study programs, and employment. Nearly 100 companies, 230 recruiters, and 1,800 students are expected to attend the 2025 event.

The 2025 edition will focus on artificial intelligence

This year, the Forum will highlight a key topic: artificial intelligence (AI). Against a backdrop of profound changes in professions, skills, and recruitment practices, the University of Montpellier is offering a space for reflection and dialogue on the impacts of AI on the world of work.

The roundtable discussion titled “AI and Recruitment: Opportunities and Challenges for Young Talent” will feature Abyslen, APEC, and Altrad Endel, among others, who will share their expertise on several key topics:

  • new applications of AI in candidate sourcing and selection;
  • emerging skills to master;
  • the biases and limitations of recruitment algorithms;
  • the prospects for collaboration between human intelligence and artificial intelligence.

A space for opportunities and career development

Open to all fields of study (science, health, management, economics, computer science, environmental studies, etc.), the University Career Forum provides a unique opportunity for interaction between students and graduates and professionals.

In addition to the internship, work-study, and job openings posted on ResUM, the forum emphasizes personalized support and helping students explore the job market by fostering dialogue among faculty members, companies, and young talent trained at the University of Montpellier.
