Montpellier University honors students as drivers of innovation and entrepreneurship at its Afterwork 2025 event

The next innovation after-work event at the University of Montpellier will take place on Tuesday, July 8, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Orangery in the Jardin des Plantes, with Michaël Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier and President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, Philippe Augé, President of UM, and Philippe Combette, Vice President of Partnerships and Innovation at UM.

The event will feature debates, testimonials, and experience sharing, as well as a round table bringing together students, doctoral candidates, and key players in innovation. They will discuss their career paths and highlight the programs offered by Montpellier's University Innovation Cluster (PUI), designed to support university students in their innovation and entrepreneurship endeavors. The evening will conclude with the official signing of a partnership agreement, marking a new stage in the University of Montpellier's innovation strategy. This event will also be an opportunity to meet and discuss the innovation and partnership policy promoted by the UM and its partners.

  • Starting at 6 p.m. with the opening of the after-work event by the president of the University of Montpellier, Philippe Augé,
  • Round table discussion on support mechanisms at Montpellier University Hospital,
  • Meeting with Montpellier incubators: Initium, AgroVallée Incubation, the CHU innovation extractor, TTM Factory from SATT AxLR, Montpellier Business & Innovation Center
  • Signing of a partnership agreement between the University of Montpellier, SATT AxLR, and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
