The University of Montpellier organized its 4th "Forum Entreprises Université" at the Triolet campus!

On Thursday October 19, the University of Montpellier organized the 4th edition of its "Forum Entreprises Université", an annual event dedicated to professional integration. The aim was to support students and graduates in their search for internships or jobs. Over 130 companies, 250 recruiters and 1,000 students took part in the 4th edition of the event.

The forum was open to all Université de Montpellier students, from L3 to doctorate level, as well as to UM graduates enrolled in the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the IAE, the IPAG, Montpellier Management, STAPS and Polytech Montpellier. The "Forum Entreprises Université" is a privileged point of exchange between companies, students and recruitment professionals, and aims to support students and graduates in their professional integration, a priority mission for the University of Montpellier. The event is organized every year by the SCUIO-IP job placement office of the University of Montpellier, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science, Polytech, IAE, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Economics, Montpellier Management, IPAG, STAPS and the UNESCO ICIREWARD center.

Talent with a wide range of profiles meets a pool of companies and recruitment professionals

With backgrounds in science and technology, management, IT, marketing, economics, management and finance, health, the environment, administration, etc., the 1,000 registered students met with over 250 recruiters from 130 companies who took part in the event, offering internships and jobs. The students met with the companies during the day-long event held on the Richter Campus on October 19. Advice stands were also available to students on this day. In addition, they applied for vacancies via the ResUM platform, the Professional Network of the University of Montpellier, by positioning themselves on the slots offered by the companies for videoconference interviews.

Partners specializing in employment came to share their views during a round table and webinars, including: ANDRH, Hays, Accueil International, APEC, CCI Hérault, Pôle Emploi, l'Observatoire de l'insertion professionnelle...

A dense program

This year's event featured two roundtables: "How to succeed in your recruitment interview", with the participation of human resources directors, specialists in the field (APEC, Hays, ANDRH) and graduates from the University of Montpellier, and a roundtable dedicated to disability: "When and how to deal with your disability when applying for a job", with CAP Emploi and Capgemini Technology Services. 4 thematic webinars were also offered to students seeking advice.
