The University of Montpellier is organizing another edition of the University Job Fair
On October 17, the latest edition of the “University Job Forum” will take place—an annual event dedicated to helping students and graduates enter the workforce. The forum aims to support participants in their search for internships, work-study programs, or jobs. More than 130 companies, 250 recruiters, and approximately 1,800 students are expected on the Triolet campus for this day of networking and recruitment. The event is open to students at the University of Montpellier from the third year of their bachelor’s degree through doctoral studies, as well as to graduates.
A broader and more inclusive event
Formerly known as the “Business-University Forum,” the University Job Fair now caters to a broader audience, including not only businesses but also government agencies, associations, and other organizations. This change is intended to better reflect the diversity of entities offering career opportunities.
A special place for sharing ideas
Students from a variety of fields—including science, management, computer science, economics, health, and the environment—will have the chance to meet 250 recruiters at thecompany booths. They will have the opportunity to apply for internships, jobs, or work-study programs, particularly through the ResUM platform, the University of Montpellier’s professional network.
Information booths on a variety of topics (work-study programs, entrepreneurship, international opportunities) will also be available. Video conference interviews can be arranged, thereby streamlining the application process.
Roundtable Discussions and Thematic Webinars
The 2024 edition will feature a rich program, including:
Three roundtable discussions:
- “New Recruitment Practices,” featuring experts from organizations such as APEC, Hays, and ANDRH.
- A roundtable discussion on the topic of disability: “When and how should you discuss your disability during the job application process?” in collaboration with CAP Emploi and Capgemini Technology Services.
- A roundtable discussion for institutional partners.
Eleven themed webinars will be offered, featuring renowned partners such as ANDRH, APEC, CPME Hérault, France Travail, Pépite-LR, HAYS, BIC de Montpellier, and many others.
