The University of Montpellier is organizing a new edition of the University Job Forum
On October 17, the latest edition of the "University Job Forum" will be held, an annual event dedicated to helping students and graduates enter the workforce. The forum aims to support participants in their search for internships, work-study programs, or jobs. More than 130 companies, 250 recruiters, and approximately 1,800 students are expected on the Triolet campus for this day of networking and recruitment. The event is open to students at the University of Montpellier from bachelor's to doctoral level, as well as graduates.
An expanded and inclusive event
Formerly known as the "University Business Forum," the University Job Forum now reflects a broader audience, including not only businesses, but also government agencies, associations, and other organizations. This change aims to better represent the diversity of entities offering professional opportunities.
A privileged space for exchange
Students from various fields such as science, management, IT, economics, health, and the environment will be able to meet 250 recruiters at company stands. They will have the opportunity to apply for internships, jobs, or work-study programs, particularly via the ResUM platform, the University of Montpellier's professional network.
Advice booths on various topics (work-study programs, entrepreneurship, international opportunities) will also be available. Video conference interviews can be arranged, facilitating the application process.
Round tables and thematic webinars
The 2024 edition will feature a rich program including:
Three round tables:
- "New recruitment methods" with the participation of experts such as APEC, Hays, and ANDRH.
- A round table discussion on disability: "When and how should you mention your disability in your job application?" in collaboration with CAP Emploi and Capgemini Technology Services.
- A round table dedicated to institutional partners.
Eleven themed webinars will be offered, with the participation of renowned partners such as ANDRH, APEC, CPME Hérault, France Travail, Pépite-LR, HAYS, BIC Montpellier, and many others.
