The University of Montpellier is hosting another edition of the University Job Fair
On October 17, the latest edition of the “University Job Fair” will take place, an annual event dedicated to helping students and graduates enter the workforce. The fair aims to support participants in their search for internships, work-study programs, or jobs. More than 130 companies, 250 recruiters, and approximately 1,800 students are expected on the Triolet campus for this day of networking and recruitment. The event is open to students at the University of Montpellier from the third year of their bachelor’s degree through doctoral programs, as well as to graduates.
A larger, more inclusive event
Formerly known as the “University Business Forum,” the University Career Forum now caters to a broader audience, including not only businesses but also government agencies, associations, and other organizations. This change aims to better reflect the diversity of organizations offering career opportunities.
A special place for sharing ideas
Students from a variety of fields—including science, business, computer science, economics, healthcare, and environmental studies—will have the opportunity to meet with 250 recruiters at company booths. They will be able to apply for internships, full-time jobs, or work-study programs, particularly through ResUM, the University of Montpellier’s professional network.
Information booths on a variety of topics (work-study programs, entrepreneurship, international opportunities) will also be available. Video interviews can be arranged to streamline the application process.
Roundtable discussions and thematic webinars
The 2024 edition will feature a packed program, including:
Three panel discussions:
- “New Recruitment Practices,” featuring experts from organizations such as APEC, Hays, and ANDRH.
- A roundtable discussion on the topic of disability: “When and how should you discuss your disability during the application process?” in collaboration with CAP Emploi and Capgemini Technology Services.
- A roundtable discussion for institutional partners.
Eleven themed webinars will be offered, featuring renowned partners such as ANDRH, APEC, CPME Hérault, France Travail, Pépite-LR, HAYS, BIC de Montpellier, and many others.
