Les Doctoriales is becoming PhD Innovation Week in Montpellier
The first edition of the PhD Innovation Week was held from December 2 to 5, 2024, on the Boutonnet campus of Paul Valéry Montpellier III University. Formerly known as Les Doctoriales, this new edition offered an interactive and stimulating event entirely dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship. A unique opportunity for doctoral researchers advance their projects and collaborate with experts while working on portfolios of innovative assets.
Over the course of these four days, some twenty doctoral researchers in masterclasses and collaborative workshops on topics such as the Business Model Canvas, intellectual property, and pitching. They also had the opportunity to meet regional stakeholders and partners in innovation and entrepreneurship at the “Skills Village.”
The week concluded with pitch presentations to a panel of experts, featuring outstanding projects in the fields of health, food, and technology based on assets from Satt AXLR. The event was organized by the Doctoral College of the University of Montpellier, the Languedoc-Roussillon Doctoral College, andthe Initium incubator.
