The Doctoriales are becoming PhD Innovation Week in Montpellier
The first edition of the PhD Innovation Week took place from December 2 to 5, 2024, on the Boutonnet campus of Paul Valéry Montpellier III University. Formerly known as the Doctoriales, this new edition offered an interactive and stimulating event entirely dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship. It was a unique opportunity for doctoral researchers advance their projects and collaborate with experts while working on portfolios of innovative assets.
Over the course of these four days, about 20 doctoral researchers in masterclasses and collaborative workshops on topics such as the business model canvas, intellectual property, and pitching. They also had the opportunity to meet regional stakeholders and partners in innovation and entrepreneurship at the “Skills Village.”
The week concluded with pitch presentations before a panel of experts, featuring remarkable projects in the fields of health, food, and technology based on assets from Satt AXLR. This event was organized by the University of Montpellier’s doctoral college, the Languedoc-Roussillon doctoral college, andthe Initium incubator.
