In this program from November 19, we welcome Camille ZAMANT, mediator and head of the scientific culture and events department at the University of Montpellier. She presents the Sud de Sciences festival, a scientific film festival that offers the general public a unique opportunity to see full-length scientific films, followed by discussions with researchers. The SUD DE SCIENCES festival is part of a very rich and diverse local research scene, reflecting the six thousand researchers in the Montpellier scientific community. Free of charge, it offers the public an opportunity to view exceptional scientific films on current research topics that address the challenges facing society, around the themes of the I-SITE program of excellence, which brings together the region's researchers to meet three major challenges: Nourish, Care, Protect.

Once again this year, the graduation ceremony for doctoral students at the University of Montpellier took place at the Corum de Montpellier. This event, central to the university community, brought together all doctoral students in the Pasteur auditorium, before the traditional hat-toss and parade through the streets of Montpellier (from the Corum to the Arc de Triomphe).The Collège doctoral de l'Université de Montpellier offers its doctoral students a range of specific, innovative and professional training courses, as well as measures to help them enter the job market.Radio Aviva was present at this ceremony, and in this program we present interviews recorded by Liliane Dray with Gilles Subra, Director of the Collège doctoral de l'Université de Montpellier.

Michaël DELAFOSSE, President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, Mayor of Montpellier, Philippe AUGÉ, President of the University of Montpellier, Jean-Michel MARIN, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Cédric VILLANI, Fields Medalist (2010) inaugurated the Alexandre Grothendieck square in front of the Triolet campus.
Alexandre Grothendieck was the re-founder of algebraic geometry, the greatest mathematician of the 20th century, as many of his peers called him. He changed the landscape of mathematics, and this forecourt pays tribute to him.
Radio Aviva was present at the inauguration, and in this program we invite you to listen to interviews with mathematician Cédric VILLANI, Fields Medalist, and Jean-Michel MARIN, Dean of the Faculty of Science, both recorded by Liliane Dray.
19th edition Primavera

Radio Aviva attended the launch of the "Montpellier Ville du Droit" project. This collaborative project aims to raise awareness of Montpellier's unique legal heritage, its history, its personalities and its places.

Opening at 3pm with a coffee reception in the foyer Pasteur.
Ceremony from 4pm, with official speeches, interdisciplinary prize-giving and doctoral school ceremonies until 6:30pm.
After the graduation ceremony, the traditional hat-tossing ceremony took place on the Corum forecourt. The procession of doctoral students then made its way to the Jardin des Plantes, passing through Place de la Comédie and the Arc de Triomphe.
At the end of the day, from 7.30pm, the "Portraits de docteurs" exhibition gave visitors the chance to meet some of the young doctoral students who have successfully defended their university theses in the 2021-2022 academic year. The exhibition will be shown in the presence of illustrator Elsa Gabet and photographer Gabriel Fradin.
