Open House on October 14 at the Saint Priest campus as part of Science Day!
On Saturday, October 14, starting at 10 a.m., the St. Priest Campus will open its doors for the entire day—an exceptional event—to celebrate Science Day. The goal is to take all participants on a journey into the heart of new technologies in computer science, microelectronics, electronic systems, robotics, and mechanical engineering.

On the agenda: immersive workshops, lectures, and the launch of “MorphoQuest,” the virtual app that lets users explore the various activity locations and download 3D data from this fabulous treasure hunt across the campus.
An open house with a varied program and a range of objectives
Explore the digital world—from information to systems, from data to artificial intelligence, and from technology to people—and also discover wood as a material, as well as granular media, through the various booths run by teams from the St. Priest campus laboratories: the LIRMM (Montpellier Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics, and Microelectronics), the IES (Institute of Electronics and Systems), and the LMGC (Laboratory of Mechanics and Civil Engineering). You’ll explore the evolution of all these new technologies through demonstrations and collaborative, interactive workshops.
Several short talks will be held throughout the day, covering a wide range of research topics. Food will also be available on site, as four food trucks (serving Asian and African cuisine, burgers, and pitas) will be set up in a designated area on campus.

Introducing the "MorphoQuest" app!
MorphoQuest is a serious game designed for children that lets them explore morphogenesis in 3D. It’s a treasure hunt through fascinating scientific data, allowing players to discover some of the big questions in science through a series of mini-games. The launch will take place during the Science Festival in Montpellier, where, through a tour of several university campuses—guided by the “Professor Cell” mascot—players will discover 3D data on various sea squirt embryos as well as monkey skulls!
