Open house on October 14 on the Saint Priest campus as part of the Fête de la Science!

On Saturday October 14, starting at 10am, the Campus St Priest will exceptionally open its doors all day to celebrate the Fête de la Science. The aim is to take participants on a journey to the heart of new technologies in computer science, microelectronics, electronic systems, robotics and mechanics.

On the program: immersive workshops, lectures, and the launch of "MorphoQuest", the virtual application that allows visitors to discover the various venues and download 3D data from this fabulous treasure hunt on campus.

An open day with a varied programme and different objectives

Discover the digital world, from information to systems, from data to artificial intelligence, from technology to people, as well as wood materials and granular media, at the various stands run by teams from the St Priest campus laboratories, LIRMM (Montpellier Laboratory of Computing, Robotics and Microelectronics), IES (Institute of Electronics and Systems) and LMGC (Laboratory of Mechanics and Civil Engineering). You'll discover the evolution of all these new technologies through collaborative and interactive demonstrations and workshops.

Several mini-conferences will be held throughout the day, covering all research themes. There will also be 4 food trucks on campus (Asian, African, hamburger and pitas).

MorphoQuest" application unveiled!

MorphoQuest is a serious game designed for children, enabling them to discover morphogenesis in 3D. It's a treasure hunt of magnificent scientific data, allowing players to discover some of the major scientific questions through a series of mini-games. The game will be launched at the Fête de la Science in Montpellier, where, assisted by Professor Cell's mascot, players will wander around several university campuses, discovering 3D data on Ascidian embryos and monkey skulls!
