Portraits of Doctors
On June 26, 2023, the Doctoral College of the University of Montpellier celebrated the achievements of its 484 doctoral graduates at a commencement ceremony held at the Corum. This is an opportunity to meet these men and women driven by a passion for research who, like the hummingbird of legend, contribute to the best of their abilities, talents, and knowledge to meet the challenges of a changing world.
Mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electronics, biology and health sciences, human movement sciences, chemistry, law, business and management sciences, engineering, agronomy… Regardless of their field, these young researchers have demonstrated exceptional creativity and determination in overcoming the doubts and challenges that mark the journey of writing a dissertation.
Whether they are researching, observing, analyzing, or designing, their work adds another piece to the puzzle of our understanding of the world—and who knows, perhaps it will even change it?
