Portraits of doctors
On June 26, 2023, the Doctoral College of the University of Montpellier celebrates the success of its 484 PhDs at a graduation ceremony held at the Corum. An opportunity to meet these men and women driven by a passion for research who, like the hummingbird in the legend, contribute their means, talents and knowledge to meeting the challenges of a changing world.
Mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electronics, biology and biology-health, human movement sciences, chemistry, law, management sciences, engineering, agronomy... Whatever their discipline, these young researchers have shown exceptional creativity and determination to overcome the doubts and difficulties that mark out the initiatory journey that is the thesis.
Whether researching, observing, analyzing or designing, their work is just one more drop in the bucket to advance our knowledge of the world and, who knows, maybe change it?
