Doctoral program between the University of Montpellier and the CNRS Lebanon
Call for applications 2024-2025
The University of Montpellier (UM) and the National Council for Research of the Lebanese Republic (CNRS-L) wish to strengthen their partnership on topics of common interest around "Feeding, Caring, Protecting." To this end, they are funding two co-directed doctoral research contracts for the year 2024-2025, as part of an international co-supervision of theses between UM and a Lebanese higher education or research institution. This funding is exclusively intended for students of Lebanese nationality who hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) recognized as such by both institutions.
This joint call for applications aims to identify collaborative projects between research teams or Professors the University of Montpellier and Lebanese research units recognized by CNRS-L.
The priority themes for the year 2024-2025 are as follows:

- Economy of conflict zones
- Sociology and Political Science
- Environment and natural resources
- Epidemiology
- Pest and exotic species
- Medical sciences
- Education
- Human movement sciences
