Doctoral program between the University of Montpellier and CNRS Lebanon
Call for entries 2024-2025
The University of Montpellier (UM) and the National Council for Scientific Research of the Republic of Lebanon (CNRS-L) wish to strengthen their partnership on themes of common interest around "Nourish, Care, Protect". To this end, they are funding two doctoral research contracts for 2024-2025, as part of an international thesis co-direction program between the UM and a Lebanese higher education or research institution. These grants are exclusively intended for students of Lebanese nationality, holding a Master's degree (or equivalent) recognized as such by both institutions.
This joint call for applications aims to identify collaborative projects between research teams or teacher-researchers at the University of Montpellier and Lebanese research units recognized by CNRS-L.
The priority themes for 2024-2025 are as follows:
- Cultural heritage
- Social sciences
- Water management
- Economy of conflict zones
- Sociology and political science
- Environment and natural resources
- Epidemiology
- Pest and exotic species
- Medical sciences
- Education
- Sciences of human movement
