A look back at the first day of the Experimental & Regenerative Medicine Track of the Biology-Health Research Cluster
The1stCongress of Regenerative Medicine & Biotherapies, which took placeon Friday, October 9, was a huge success despite the challenging local health situation.

Organized bythe Institute of Regenerative Medicine & Biotherapies (IRMB)in Montpellier, in partnership withMontpellier University Hospital aspart of theI-SITE MUSE Experimental & Regenerative Medicine Day, it brought together 180 registered participants, including 90 in person and 90 via live broadcast.
Fifteen cutting-edge scientific presentations brought together national scientific expertise on topics as varied as restoring mobility, tissue and skeletal regeneration, senescence, 3D cartilage reconstruction, and the clinical use of stem cells. They highlighted the value of a multidisciplinary approach to the pathologies involved in these fields in order to broaden thinking and push innovation to the cutting edge of what is possible. The topics and experiences discussed at thisfirstcongress demonstrate the development potential oftomorrow'sregenerative medicine and open up new prospects for humanity, which will be the subjects of future editions of this event.
The day continued with a round table discussion involving testimony from a patient representative and the Arthritis Foundation on osteoarticular diseases, providing an opportunity for enlightening and positive exchanges.
It concluded with a particularly enriching public lecture presenting the career of "Théophraste Renaudot, pioneering physician and philanthropist."
