A master's program in Cancer Biology on the scale of the Coimbra Group's European network

The Life Science Group of the Coimbra Group Network (CLSG) coordinates a Masters in Cancer Biology network to enhance the excellence and competitiveness of Masters and PhD programs in the life sciences across Europe.


The CLSG offers Master's students in cancer biology or a related field the opportunity to develop all or part of their practical training or research project at one of the partner universities participating in the program (see below). Students can also take courses at one of these universities during their practical training.

General objectives :

  • Develop active networks in the field of cancer research.
  • Share training activities and technologies to improve the quality and competitiveness of research and training in the biological sciences.
  • To teach students an interdisciplinary approach to cancer research, from the fundamental to the clinical level.

  • Barcelona (Spain),
  • Salamanca (Spain).
