A master’s program in Cancer Biology offered through the Coimbra Group’s European network
The Life Sciences Group of the Coimbra Group Network (CLSG) coordinates a network of master’s programs in cancer biology to enhance the excellence and competitiveness of master’s and doctoral programs in the life sciences at the European level.
The CLSG offers master’s students in cancer biology or a related field the opportunity to carry out all or part of their practical training or research project at one of the partner universities participating in the program (see below). Students may also take courses at one of these universities during their practical training.
General objectives:
- Develop active networks in the field of cancer research.
- Share training activities and technologies with the aim of improving the quality and competitiveness of research and training in the field of biological sciences.

The eleven universities in the Coimbra Group participating in this program are:
- Montpellier (France),
- Würzburg (Germany),
- In Cologne (Germany),
- Turku (Finland),
- Abo Akademi (Finland),
