Innovative online training in environmental health
The University of Montpellier, with the support and funding from the Occitanie regional health agency, is launching an innovative project in the field of environmental health training: the creation of a small private online course (Spoc) dedicated to environmental health for primary care.

This project is part of Axis 1 "Inform, train and educate on health and the environment" of the Occitanie regional health and environment plan (PRSE4 Occitanie 2023-2028). This Spoc, for small private online course, is a kind of Mooc reserved for a targeted audience, designed to provide professionals, local authorities and citizens with the knowledge and skills they need to take action on the environment and health.
Under development since July 2024 in collaboration with the CPAM de l'Hérault and the University Department of General Medicine (DUMG), this Spoc will be a hybrid training program, combining online modules and face-to-face sessions. Accessible from early 2026, it is primarily aimed at coordinators of coordinated healthcare practice structures (territorial professional healthcare community / multi-professional healthcare home), as well as students in the relevant courses.
