Activities and Objectives of the Association

Artio is a unique organization in that it is exclusively for students in the IEGB Master’s program and offers lifetime membership. Its goal is to foster a sense of community within the IEGB Master’s program, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages mutual support and the sharing of knowledge and skills among students.

Artio lends natural history equipment to students and supports courses that include fieldwork; it also organizes nature outings and lectures.

The association also supports individual and/or group projects by master’s students. In addition, it fosters continuity among the various cohorts of the master’s program, thereby helping to build a broad network of alumni, which is particularly helpful for entering the workforce.
