Activities and Objectives of the Association

Artio is a unique association in that it is open exclusively to students in the IEGB master’s program and offers lifetime membership. Its goal is to foster a sense of community within the IEGB master’s program to create a pleasant atmosphere that encourages mutual support and the sharing of knowledge and skills among students.

Artio lends natural history equipment to students and supports course units that include fieldwork; it also organizes nature outings and lectures.

The association also supports individual and/or group projects by master’s students. In addition, it ensures continuity among the various cohorts of the master’s program, thereby fostering the creation of a broad network of alumni, which is particularly helpful for entering the workforce.
