Crocodiles of the World
Activities and Objectives of the Association
Founded in 2007, “Crocos du monde” is a student organization made up of health sciences students from the Nîmes Faculty of Medicine. Its goal is to enable students to get involved in humanitarian work, each in their own way, and to raise awareness of global inequalities.
At the local level, the association collaborates with the Nîmes Red Cross on various initiatives:
- outreach visits;
- activities in nursing homes;
- Restos du Cœur: food drives;
- awareness-raising activities at the medical school.
The association also carries out international solidarity projects focused on health and education, made possible by fundraising efforts conducted throughout the academic year. Numerous initiatives have already been carried out, with projects implemented in several countries such as Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Morocco, Togo, and, this year, Benin.
Committed to the environment, she is dedicated to sustainable development: partnering with the company “Dans ma Culotte” to sell menstrual underwear, and with the recycling center at Nîmes University Hospital to raise students’ awareness of environmental issues.
