OrthoFaso

Activities and Objectives of the Association

Orthofaso is a nonprofit organization established in 2006 under the French Law of 1901, dedicated to promoting and managing speech-language therapy projects. The team, consisting of 14 speech-language pathology students, previously worked with children and adolescents with multiple disabilities living in an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

As the health crisis has prompted us to reinvent ourselves, we are now pursuing two new projects that are better suited to the current situation:

  • an international project, providing remote support to various organizations working in Vietnam as well as the orphanage through donations and the shipment of supplies;
  • a local initiative that promotes the development of oral language skills through preventive measures targeting at-risk populations—in collaboration with the APOH.
