Montpellier Student Chapter

The Montpellier Student Chapter (SCM) is an association that brings together students and alumni of the Master's program in Exploration and Reservoir Geology (GER) at the University of Montpellier. The association is affiliated with Terinov, which aims to bring together companies, research centers, and training programs in the field of geosciences in the Occitanie and PACA regions.
The members of Student Chapter Montpellier have set themselves the task of promoting geology to the general public and maintaining strong links with georesource professionals! The association's flagship activity is the annual organization of a trip that allows them to meet economic players in the field of geology, visit natural sites, and exchange skills to better understand the industrial sector. In addition, their Intergenerational Geologists Link project is particularly close to their hearts. They organize activities to introduce middle and high school students, as well as seniors, to the geosciences.
