Our Initiatives Project Support We develop support mechanisms tailored to the needs of scientific communities: Data Clinic: an innovative support service for researchers, doctoral students, engineers, and students. A scientific help desk is available to provide practical support for community projects: personalized advice, assistance with technical problem-solving, and help overcoming specific roadblocks. The clinic can also actively collaborate with researchers to co-develop solutions tailored to their needs. Learn More Skills-Building Training The short training courses offered by the ISDM are designed to support the evolution of practices in the management, analysis, and utilization of research data. They are designed for all professionals—researchers, engineers, doctoral candidates, or students—who wish to acquire or strengthen key skills in data science. Each session combines a hands-on approach, accessibility, and scientific expertise, centered around three main themes: Artificial Intelligence: Explore the fundamentals and practical applications of AI through introductory and targeted training courses. Computing and Reproducibility: Hands-on workshops to master the fundamental tools of collaborative development and ensure the reproducibility of scientific analyses. Statistics, Data Management, and Analysis: Training courses to learn or refine skills in statistical methods applied to data science. Learn More Data Services ISDM facilitates access to high-performance technical environments: Digital Services: shared computing platforms, secure cloud, data anonymization tools, data-sharing tools, data analysis tools (notebooks), etc. Best Practices: guidance on the use of standards, metadata schemas, and data structuring. Activities and Events MBI (Montpellier Bioinformatics): a network of local bioinformatics stakeholders that promotes collaboration, training, and shared resources. Irène Georgescu, a university professor at Montpellier Management, researches the resilience of healthcare professionals. This research earned her a 5.6 million euro European Research Innovation Action grant in 2025.
