Moment-UM: Enhancing Research, Training and Innovation

Winner of the ASDESR1 call for projects With substantial funding of over 3.6 million euros, the Moment-UM project is part of the fourth France 2030 investment plan for the future, launched by the French National Research Agency (ANR). The project aims to strengthen UM's position as a key player in European research, continuing education and innovation, through a number of different actions. Europe Moment-UM aims to boost the participation of UM researchers in the Horizon Europe program (European Framework Program for Research and Innovation). The ERC (European Research Council) grants, Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions and the EIC (European Innovation Council) are the preferred instruments. The aim is twofold: to increase the number of projects submitted and to improve the success rate. In close collaboration with three national research organizations based in Montpellier (CNRS, INSERM and IRD), Moment-UM is committed to increasing the visibility and support of research teams on the Montpellier site, through: Strengthening support staff by hiring new experts. Individualized support for project writing. Training and coordination of experts. Increased communication and visibility of funding and projects. Formation Moment'UM aims to strengthen the University of Montpellier's position in the professional training market to enhance the professional development of students, researchers and professionals. This component focuses on the development of short courses and institutional diplomas to meet the specific needs of companies, through: The creation of new courses and diplomas. Promoting a skills-based approach. Setting up collective Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) programs. Communication and promotion of our training offer. BIO'OCC: Biotherapies and Bioproduction in Occitania

Bio'Occ is a project financed by the French government as part of the France 2030 plan. This ambitious regional initiative aims to attract, train and retain the talents and players of tomorrow by developing specialized training in the field of Biotherapies and Bioproduction. Against a backdrop of growing growth in this sector in the Occitanie region, as well as nationwide, Bio'Occ meets a specific demand from industry, which is facing recruitment challenges. By creating a dynamic and innovative ecosystem, this project promises to transform the biotech landscape in the region, while supporting the growth of companies and preparing tomorrow's professionals to meet the challenges of the future.
