Biocommunication in Cardiometabolics (BC2M)

EA 7288

Our unit project focuses on biocommunication between the cardiovascular/renal axis and metabolic tissues, in the complex pathophysiological context of metabolic syndrome.

Our work aims to better characterize the pathophysiological mechanisms involved in the damage to various target tissues (cardiovascular and metabolic) during metabolic dysfunction, as well as the biocommunication pathways between these tissues.

Thanks to this integrative approach to chronic diseases, we hope to develop new therapeutic strategies, with the aim of preventing damage to cardiovascular and metabolic tissues and thus reducing cardiovascular risk and metabolic dysfunction.
