Molecular Mechanisms in Neurodegenerative Dementia (MMDN)

The MMDN is an interdisciplinary laboratory dedicated to research into the biology of aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
We aim to understand the molecular mechanisms of normal and pathological aging, and to propose new approaches for diagnosis and treatment.
Using animal models of Drosophila, zebrafish, mice and lemurs, and molecular biology, cell biology and pharmacology approaches, we target neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), rare diseases and spinal cord trauma.
